About the Role

As a Child Development Behavior Specialist at Blue Bird Day
, you will provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to children ages 2-7 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs
. You'll foster each child's cognitive, social, emotional, adaptive, and developmental growth through:

  • Providing individualized therapy
  • Collecting data on programming
  • Implementing evidence-based intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Implementing developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans in our classrooms
  • Collaborating daily with physical and speech therapists, and social workers
  • Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care

Child Development Behavior Specialist

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Child Development or Early Education required
  • Experience working with neurodivergent children preferred
  • Registered Behavior Technician Certification preferred or willing to obtain

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Salary: $50,000 - $52,000
