, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate clinic-based Therapeutic Assistant/Behavior Technician Flex (TA/BT Flex) to join our multidisciplinary team of top therapists in Wheaton, IL
. This is an opportunity to provide evidence-based, play-focused pediatric therapy in a collaborative, innovative environment designed to help children thrive.
As an TA/BT Flex at Blue Bird Day
, you will provide support and applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to children ages 2-7 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs
. You'll foster each child's cognitive, social, emotional, adaptive, and developmental growth through:
- Providing individualized therapy and group therapy support
- Collecting data on programming
- Implementing evidence-based intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
- Collaborating daily with physical and speech therapists, and social workers
- Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care

Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent college credit (60 credits) required;
Bachelor's degree preferred - Completion of 40-hour training of ASD and behavioral related subjects/evidence-based techniques (must be
completed prior to first day) - Experience working with children or clients with special needs required
- Experience working with children with autism preferred
- Active BACB certification preferred
