Speech Language Pathologist

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based therapeutic techniques
• Establish treatment goals and develop and implement Speech Pathology treatment programs based on full clinical evaluations
• Provide rehabilitative services under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team
• Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate patients' plans of care
• Treat residents one-on-one through individualized private treatment sessions using a functional-based treatment approach
• Deliver personalized rehabilitative care to senior living community residents to improve their quality of life

• Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills
• Minimum commitment of 8 hours per month to maintain active employment

Demonstrates expertise in evaluating and treating patients with swallowing disorders and communication impairments, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and individualized treatment programs. Holds a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology and a current state license as a Speech Language Pathology.
