Job Description
Foundation Wealth Strategies is hiring an outgoing and friendly Case Manager & Insurance Onboarding Specialist who is client-focused and can thrive in a fast-paced financial services office located in the Western suburbs of Chicago, IL.
The Case Manager & Insurance Onboarding Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of insurance applications and client onboarding. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of all insurance-related cases while delivering exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and skilled at coordinating between clients, advisors, and insurance carriers.
Key Responsibilities- Insurance Application Management
- Prepare, review, and submit life, disability, and long-term care insurance applications that have been closed.
- Track application progress and proactively follow up with carriers, clients, and the writing agent.
- Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Client Onboarding
- Guide clients through the onboarding process, explaining forms and requirements.
- Collect and verify client information for insurance and financial accounts.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and insurance platforms.
- Case Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the application process.
- Communicate updates to advisors and resolve any issues promptly.
- Coordinate medical exams, underwriting requirements, and policy delivery.
- Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure adherence to FINRA, SEC, and insurance carrier guidelines.
- Maintain organized files for audits and regulatory reviews.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent years of job-related experience)
- Life and Health Insurance License
- 2+ years of experience in insurance case management or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of life and health insurance products.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
