Position Summary

Position:
Young Life Staff – Ministry Leadership.

• Spiritual Development
  • Develop a yearly personal growth plan that fosters a vibrant spiritual life.
  • Seek and maintain relationships and spiritual disciplines within a church community.
  • Actively participate in the spiritual life of the Young Life community.
  • Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development.
• Leadership Development
  • Recruit, train, and equip volunteer leaders, committees, and staff.
  • Build a leadership team that reflects the community.
  • Model excellence in contact work, club, Campaigners, and camping.
  • Attend and be involved with area leadership as assigned.
• Resource Development
  • Raise financial support and maintain donor care practices.
  • Communicate ministry updates and progress to donors.
  • Assist with camp fundraisers and attend committee and adult functions.
• Direct Ministry
  • Engage in contact work, club, Campaigners and camp.
  • Conduct Young Life club and Campaigners/discipleship ministry with excellence.
  • Implement summer and school‑season camping strategy.
  • Provide service at a Young Life property as needed.
• Ministry Support
  • Perform office administration, accounting, and data management.
  • Maintain professional standards concerning office hours, dress, and conduct.
  • Set yearly ministry and personal goals and review them regularly.
  • Complete expense reports promptly and perform other duties as assigned.
• Training
  • Participate in regional and area training events.
  • Receive individualized training supervised by the area director.
  • Learn personal fundraising principles.

The annual base salary for this position is $19,790.00 – $23,530.00.

Currently pursuing a college degree.

• Profess a belief in Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord.
• Subscribe to the Young Life Statement of Faith.
• Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
