Position Summary

We are pleased to offer the current job opportunity for a Foundation Coordinator within Kenneth Moy DuPage Care Center. This is a grant funded position.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support, coordinate, lead, oversee, and act as a liaison for Foundation Board activities, fundraising, events, and capital fundraising initiatives.
  • Coordinate and monitor committee activities & special fundraising events including pre‑event and on‑site event management and sponsor stewardship.
  • Develop working relationships with community groups, professional associations, and other agencies to identify potential networking and joint marketing opportunities.
  • Maintain donor stewardship and communications.
  • Manage, solicit, and acknowledge in‑kind and monetary donations.
  • Maintain donor database and address donor needs.
  • Identify and pursue funding sources; assist with submitting grants on behalf of the Foundation.
  • Identify available grant funding sources, develop and prepare grant applications, and facilitate foundation and departmental personnel participation.
  • Update/maintain foundation website and public announcement boards.
  • Participate in annual foundation operations budget planning.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Public or Business Administration, or Human Services.
  • Three (3) years of professional experience in nonprofit fundraising.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Illinois Driver’s license in good standing.

Pre‑employment background check is required.

Post‑offer physical examination is required.

Physical Requirements

Light work:
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than for sedentary work.

Work Environment

Position is typically office or administrative work and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
