Healthcare Nursing, RN Nurse
Salary: $37.00 – $59.20 per hour. Placement within the range depends on relevant experience, internal equity, and collective bargaining agreements when applicable.
Position: 0.9 FTE, 12‑hour shifts.
Job DescriptionResponsible for the complete nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, teaching, evaluation, and documentation of patient care from admission through discharge. Integrates contributions of the interdisciplinary team to assure best possible outcomes. Supervises and maintains a professional relationship with licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel. Utilizes the nursing process to provide coordinated patient care and delivers holistic care by involving the patient and their family in a culturally sensitive plan of care.
Adheres to hospital and nursing department philosophies and policies and accurately documents interventions.

- Current Illinois RN license.
- BLS CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
- ADN or higher nursing degree (e.g., BSN) or signed learning agreement required upon hire.
- Analytical skills necessary to assess a patient's condition and utilize the nursing process.
- Ability to interact with patients, families, medical personnel and team members.
- Ability to perform effectively and efficiently in stressful, urgent situations.
- Awareness of customer needs related to culture, age, developmental level and diagnoses.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Previous rehabilitation nursing work experience.
