• Current Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) with School Nurse endorsement required
• Certified School Nurse licensure in Illinois is mandatory
• Previous school-based RN experience highly valued
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
• Experience with IEP meetings and supporting students with special needs is a plus

• Deliver comprehensive health services in both high school and elementary settings
• Provide daily care to students in the health office, addressing illnesses, injuries, and ongoing health needs
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, supporting students with diverse medical and educational needs
• Maintain accurate health records in accordance with school and state regulations
• Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents regarding student health and wellness
• Ensure each building’s health office is prepared and supplied for daily operations

• Start:
  December 14, 2026 – March 15, 2027, with potential to extend
• Full‑time hours:
  High school (Mon‑Wed, 7am‑2:30pm) and elementary school (Thu‑Fri, 8am‑4pm)
• Supportive faculty, staff, and district resources
