In this contract opportunity near Wheaton, IL, youll work onsite two days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:00am2:30pm), providing dedicated care to a male student who is a quadriplegic and requires specialized medical support. The assignment begins August 24, 2026, and extends through June 28, 2027.

Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
- Demonstrated experience working in a school setting
- Hands-on expertise with tracheostomy care, ventilators, and urinary catheterization
- Ability to lift to assist with student care as needed
- Background in critical care strongly preferred
- Commitment to providing compassionate, reliable care in a school environment

LPNs are not eligible for this position
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, individualized nursing care to a high school male student with complex health needs
- Monitor and manage trach and ventilator, administer urinary catheterization, and respond promptly to any changes in condition
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure safety, advocacy, and clear communication
- Maintain healthcare documentation and comply with school policies
- Offer encouragement and contribute to a positive educational experience for the student
