At Chick-fil-A Wheaton, our Catering Assistant plays an important role in creating remarkable experiences for our catering guests. This position supports the preparation, organization, and execution of catering orders while ensuring each order is accurate, professional, and ready on time.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership
. They should be able to balance catering responsibilities with supporting restaurant operations and work closely with leaders and team members to ensure catering runs smoothly. These qualities align closely with the expectations in your current role description.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and organize catering orders with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Review and double-check upcoming catering orders.
• Confirm catering orders with guests in advance.
• Assist with catering pickups and deliveries as assigned.
• Communicate with restaurant leadership to plan for large orders and busy catering days.
• Keep catering supplies, equipment, and delivery materials stocked and organized.
• Maintain a clean and organized catering area.
• Help ensure orders are prepared and ready by the promised time.
• Follow up with catering guests and help create positive, lasting relationships.
• Support restaurant operations during peak periods and when catering responsibilities allow.
• Demonstrate Chick-fil-A hospitality with every catering guest interaction.
