! We are looking for a dedicated and dependable individual to help us share the joy of music by working with parents and students to get instruments in hands!
We are currently looking to hire a seasonal Rentals & Administrative Assistant to support our School & Government Affairs Department in Wheaton, Maryland. This position is ideal for young music professionals looking for a blend of experience in music retail and music education. If you have surface level experience with brass, woodwind, and/or string instruments, this position is for you.
Key Responsibilities- Intake and assessment of student instrument needs.
- Communicate and follow-up with customers who have outstanding rentals.
- Assist with payment processing.
- Preparing, updating, & maintaining rental contracts and customer accounts.
- Delivering responsive and friendly customer service, both over the phone and via email.
- Data entry & maintenance.
- Skilled in software navigation.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Team-oriented, and eager to support colleagues with clear, accurate information.
- Customer-focused, with excellent communication skills.
- Reliable and capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- August 1 - October 31
- Wednesday 1pm - 6pm
- Thursday 1pm - 6pm
- Friday 10am - 6pm
- Saturday 10am - 6pm
