Drum Department Stock Specialist, Part-Time

Chuck Levin’s Washington Music Center is looking to bolster our Drum Department with a new stockperson! This position will play a critical role in the success of our Drum Department. As a Drum Stock Specialist, you will be responsible for transporting items from the onsite warehouse to the store, cycle counting and ensuring accurate inventory, as well as pulling items for customers.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the leading independent music stores in the countryandget your foot in the door of our Drum Department.

Drummers are highly encouraged to apply and will be given priority. Warehouse or stock experience is also preferred, but not required.

This position can either be SEASONAL or YEAR-ROUND PART-TIME

• Working knowledge of percussion instruments and all related products
• Genuine interest in drumming, drum technology, and music retail
• Ability to pick up new information quickly,follow instructions well, and retain information
• Capacity to multi-task and manageprioritiessimultaneously
• Ability to remain focused while working alone or performing repetitive tasks
• Willing to learn inventory tracking software and adhere to necessary company procedures
• Strong work ethicand reliable punctuality
• Comfortable workingwithcomputers
• Can lift 75 lbs. on a regular basis
• Commitment to consistent attendance and work performance
