We are currently searching for a Bi-Lingual Customer Service Representative for our client located in Wheeling, IL.

Our client is a privately held company that has been successfully manufacturing and distributing coatings and adhesives products to the resurfacing and repair marketplace for over 40 years. The company has demonstrated strong organic growth and is additionally actively expanding through acquisition. We offer industry-leading customer and technical service and are committed to providing innovative solutions that meet current and emerging demands of the markets we serve.

We are seeking an English/Spanish bilingual Customer Service Representative to support our customers. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the position has the following responsibilities, competencies, and experience/education requirements:

General Responsibilities:
  • Manage incoming customer calls and respond to inquiries.
  • Process customer orders and payments in a timely manner.
  • Identify customer opportunities and upsell the customer when possible and perform sales support duties. This role should partner closely and be an extension of the sales team.
  • Provide accurate product information to ensure appropriate solutions and resolutions for customer issues. Product training will be provided.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer needs are met.

  • Strong interpersonal skills as building relationships with customers is critical
  • Attention to details to deliver high quality and accurate work.
  • Team-oriented for working within productive and supportive company culture.
  • Ability to multitask and have effective time management.
  • Curiosity to learn.
Education/

Work Experience:
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Microsoft Navision or Microsoft Business Central experience is a plus
  • Prior customer service or sales experience a plus but not a requirement
  • High school graduation or equivalent.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
