Lead Maintenance Technician - Manufacturing
Hours: 7:00am – 3:00pm, Monday‑Friday
Compensation: $30.00–$35.00 per hour (actual pay based on experience, qualifications, location, and other factors allowed by law)

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the preventative and general maintenance of our CNC/Swiss production equipment throughout our facility. The technician will provide maintenance and troubleshooting on Swiss lathes, wire EDM, grinders, milling machines and other production equipment. In addition to critical service and repairs, the technician is expected to perform other maintenance functions as required in a clean, climate‑controlled environment.
JobTasks
- Assist with the installation, movement and disassembly of machinery and equipment.
- Maintain, overhaul, modify and repair machinery and stationary equipment.
- Electrical troubleshooting of CNC circuitry utilizing multimeter and other diagnostic techniques.
- Ensure operating safety devices function properly after repairs, modifications, and installations.
- Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and process specifications to visualize layouts and guide work.
- Collaborate with production departments to complete maintenance requirements in a timely fashion.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment practicing 5S principles, environmental sustainability, and continuous improvement related to maintenance processes and procedures.
- Perform routine repair work on equipment: daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual maintenance.
- Partner with onsite vendors for machine repairs.
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- Trade school certificate/degree in machine repair or machine maintenance preferred.
- 5+ years of Maintenance Service Technician experience.
- Computer proficiency, including MS Office and PM management systems.
- Excellent organizational and project‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated history of recommending suggestions for process improvements and cost savings.
- Experience with EDM/Sinker, Laser, Swiss Lathes, Grinders, or Milling equipment preferred.
