CNC Machinist - Wheeling, IL

, serving the aerospace, medical device, and precision machining industries. We are expanding our team and looking for skilled CNC Machinists who can contribute to high-quality production in a fast-paced environment.

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or mills to produce precision components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T symbols, and work instructions.
• Perform tool changes, offset adjustments, and basic program edits at the machine.
• Conduct in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision tools.
• Ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards.
• Maintain equipment, tooling, and work spaces according to safety and 5S practices.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with supervisors/engineers as needed.
• Document production data and complete required paperwork.

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience (lathe or mill).
• Strong blueprint reading and mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with Fanuc, Haas, or similar CNC controls.
• Ability to use precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Solid understanding of machining processes, feeds/speeds, and tooling.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
