Router Supervisor

Overview

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for Inbound Router Supervisor at our Wheeling, IL Service Center. This role involves managing dock and dispatch operations.

Wheeling, IL.

Employment type:

Full-Time, 3rd Shift (Sun-10pm, Tue-Fri-2am; 8-10 hour shifts).

• Manage dock and dispatch operations relevant to inbound routing.
• Coordinate Dock Operation and Driver/Freight Handler scheduling.
• Ensure Safety Compliance and quality freight handling procedures are followed.
• Timely dispatching of LTL Loads.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager.

• Proven basic leadership experience; ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and logistical skills with solid problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of quality freight handling preferred.
• Computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of the City and surrounding areas.
• Prior LTL leadership experience is strongly preferred.
