Delivery Driver​/Shop Assistant

Overview

Cobra Concrete Cutting Services is currently hiring Delivery Driver / Shop Assistant to join our team in Wheeling, IL. Cobra will train qualified applicants; this is your chance to work for a growing company. Cobra Concrete Cutting Services Co. is the leading provider of concrete sawing and drilling services in the Midwest, with offices serving Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Missouri, Iowa, and Michigan.

• Operate and maintain company van and tools
• Report to shop in a timely manner; able to lift and move 100 lbs or more
• Willing to work hard, safety oriented, and a team player
• Ability to work out-of-town, occasionally
• Comply with all safety requirements
• Willing to work in weather conditions that may be adverse (hot/cold/rain)
• Ability to tow trailers
• 40–60 hours a week (OT available)

• Must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving history; CDL is a plus
• Pass a required pre-employment drug screen and random testing
• Pass a pre-employment background record (7 years) and periodic checks
• Ability to work days/nights/weekends
• Must be authorized to work in the US; required to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have steel-toe leather work boots
