Overview

NTB / Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art service centers in the Wheeling, WV area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles.
• Perform undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks.
• Complete state-mandated inspections.
• Change oil and filters, check fluids, and replace worn parts.
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.

Required: 18 years of age or older; legally authorized to work in the United States; 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or equivalent combination of education, training and experience; possession of a personal toolbox of tools used in undercar repairs.

Preferred: State inspection license(s); ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).

Active position requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, reaching, and performing repetitive movements. Mechanics must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
