Summer Student Employment
Wheeling University is seeking student workers for part-time summer positions supporting various campus operations during Summer 2026. These roles may provide assistance across multiple departments and offer hands‑on experience in maintaining and supporting campus facilities.

Departments May Include:

• Mailroom
• IT Department

Potential

Job Responsibilities:

• Power washing campus surfaces
• Painting, sanding, and basic surface preparation
• Mudding and repairing drywall
• Watering plants and assisting with landscaping maintenance
• Emptying and maintaining trash receptacles
• Weeding and grass removal
• Performing general cleaning and housekeeping duties
• Assisting with basic wiring tasks
• Sorting and distributing mail
• Completing additional duties as assigned

• Must be a currently enrolled student at Wheeling University
• Must reside on campus during the summer term
• Must be able to provide required documentation for the employment verification process, including a valid Social Security Number
