Position: Presales Solution Architect - US

About the Role

Join TD SYNNEX as a Pre‑Sales Solution Architect and help shape service solutions that power our global Product Support Services portfolio—from integration and technical assistance to professional services, repair, and IT asset disposition (ITAD). You’ll bridge sales opportunities and successful delivery by scoping, pricing, and positioning solutions that meet customer needs and business outcomes. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and partners, and play a key role in onboarding and validating delivery partners across our global ecosystem.

This role has requires in-depth knowledge of supply chain management.

What You’ll Do
  • Presales solutioning and capture
    • Lead presales engagements: analyze RFI/RFP requirements, validate customer needs, and design tailored service solutions.
    • Collaborate with capture and proposal teams to craft compelling, compliant solution frameworks and bid strategies.
    • Engage with customers: attend meetings, clarify requirements, and perform gap analyses to refine solutions.
    • Ensure continuity post‑award: act as the link between presales and delivery to enable smooth execution.
  • Supply chain solution development
    • Lead supply chain solution development and opportunity capture supporting TD SYNNEX OEM and channel partners.
    • Design, orchestrate, and implement solution sets that enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency across operations.
    • Apply in‑depth knowledge of domestic and international supply chain strategy, practices, and procedures.
    • Perform demand and cost analysis, supply risk assessments, and design models spanning manufacturing, fulfillment, 3PL warehousing, logistics, and transportation.
  • Tools, modeling, and value engineering
    • Develop technical requirements, cost models, and sourcing strategies to support bids.
    • Validate offerings from internal teams and partners against technical, cost, and compliance standards.
    • Value engineer to identify efficient, cost‑effective solutions without compromising quality.
  • Partner ecosystem and continuous improvement
    • Onboard, vet, and integrate new delivery partners into our global services network.
    • Identify and participate in continuous improvement projects to advance lean execution and operational excellence.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience
    • 8-10 years in the IT industry, with at least 3 years in sales engineering or consulting.
    • 3-5 years’ experience building and deploying supply chain solutions.
    • 1-3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
  • Education and certifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Business or an IT‑related field preferred.
    • Technical certifications with major OEMs (e.g., Cisco, Net App, IBM, Hitachi, Dell/EMC) are a plus.
    • CLTD certification is ideal but not required.
  • Skills and competencies
    • Advanced understanding of supply chain and OEM ecosystems.
    • Strong solution design, presales architecture, and proposal writing abilities.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Proven ability to negotiate and drive win‑win outcomes.
    • Strong leadership, organization, and time management; comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
    • Advanced proficiency in relevant computer systems, modeling tools, and productivity platforms (e.g., spreadsheets, cost modeling, CRM/CPQ tools).
  • Other Requirements
    • Willingness to travel approximately 15‑20%.
    • Comfortable with occasional non‑standard hours or on‑call availability based on customer needs.
