Construction Field Coordinator

Insight Global is seeking three Field Construction Coordinators to support the construction of a project in West Virginia. These individuals will be embedded with the project team and serve as the key liaison between project management, engineering, and field contractors to ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

• Support daily construction activities by ensuring materials, equipment, tools, and drawings are available prior to work execution.
• Coordinate with contractors, foremen, and project stakeholders to remove field constraints and maintain project productivity.
• Track action items, equipment deliveries, contractor readiness, and trade coordination activities.
• Monitor field progress and communicate issues, risks, and recommended solutions to project leadership.
• Maintain daily field reports, construction logs, RFIs, and issue tracking documentation.

• 10–20+ years of hands‑on field experience in heavy industrial construction or steel mill operations
• Direct experience in at least one of the following: galvanizing line, rolling mill, or melt shop environments
• Demonstrated experience in one or more trades: mechanical, electrical, or process piping
• Proven ability to work directly with trade contractors as a field coordinator, owner's rep, or construction superintendent
• Strong working knowledge of construction sequencing, rigging operations, and installation practices
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, or piping drawings and specifications
• Experience holding contractors accountable to schedule and quality standards without micromanaging

• Prior experience as a craft foreman, superintendent, or owner's field engineer
• OSHA‑30 certification

$65-$85/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
