Safety Coordinator

Traveling Safety Coordinator - West Virginia

Placed is working with an established General Contractor looking for an experienced Safety Coordinator to support an active construction project in Point Pleasant, West Virginia.

This is a site based, traveling position for someone who is comfortable being hands on with project teams and taking responsibility for maintaining strong safety standards across day to day construction operations.

The role will include:

• Conducting daily site safety inspections and identifying potential hazards
• Ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety procedures
• Leading toolbox talks, safety orientations and regular safety meetings
• Working closely with Superintendents, Project Managers and subcontractors on site
• Monitoring PPE compliance and safe working practices
• Supporting incident investigations and maintaining accurate safety documentation
• Identifying unsafe conditions and ensuring corrective actions are implemented
• Helping promote a proactive safety culture across the project

What we’re looking for:

• Strong knowledge of construction site safety and OSHA standards
• Comfortable working directly with field teams and subcontractors
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Willingness to travel for projects
• CHST certification is preferred but not essential

There are day and night shift opportunities, with the night shift running approximately 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM.
