Customer Service Representative - Bank Plaza

Summary

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) works 100% in office, scheduled hours at a designated Wes Banco location with consideration for the Bank Plaza Banking Center. The CSR provides excellent customer service, processes transactions accurately, identifies sales opportunities, and handles complex customer service issues.

• Model the Bank’s Mission, Vision, and Pledge.
• Accept and accurately process all financial service transactions.
• Maintain the CSR cash drawer and follow proper balancing and cash handling procedures.
• Operate within security and audit procedures.
• Keep employee information and customer business confidential.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and perform additional duties to support the Banking Center.
• Meet established individual referral goals.
• Determine appropriate personnel or line of business for sales opportunities and complex service issues; follow up to ensure customer needs were met.
• Make outbound customer calls to support sales and service needs.
• Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the Bank’s products and services.

• Acquire and maintain proficiency in bank policies, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations.
• Complete all assigned compliance training promptly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook 365 and capable of learning banking software.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings.
• Strong product knowledge for selling and promoting products.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Demonstrate sound mathematical and analytical skills.
• Maintain excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability.
• Lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Be available to work all hours of operation.

High school diploma or GED required.
