Normal Working Hours

All shifts – Days can vary during busy season.

Primary Responsibilities

Answering in‑coming and in‑house calls
Taking and handling emergency and doctor calls
Taking and directing maintenance calls
Placing restrictions on/off of phones, such as Do Not Disturb
Taking and giving wake‑up calls
Taking text messages and typing in computer
Learn all extension numbers and (1800) employees (where they work)

Past Work Experience Requirements

Experience handling multiple phone lines helpful

Educational Requirements

High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred

Communication Skills Requirements

Excellent communication skills with focus on proper grammar, listening comprehension and clear diction
Customer service skills
Good telephone etiquette

Technical Requirements

Some typing and computer skills
Ability to learn and utilize AS400 for information retrieval and data entry

Required Supervision

Report to Manager, Technical Communication
Must be able to work independently
