Additional Job Description

West Virginia University Health System and the Department of Emergency Medicine are seeking a full‑time physician to join our team. This position is part of the Acute Resource Group (ARG). The physician will travel within the North Region to the following locations:
Wheeling, Renyolds, Wetzel, Barnesville, and Harrison Hospitals.

Practice community emergency medicine with a dedicated team, teaching, learning, and making a difference from day one.

• MD, MD/PhD, or DO degree (foreign educational equivalent accepted)
• Eligibility to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license
• Completed an accredited residency program
• Board‑certified or board‑eligible via a recognized ABMS board
