LOCATION: Green Bank Elementary-Middle School

Salary: $17.00 per hour. All Summer School positions will be paid only on days Summer School is in session, pending adequate staffing and student enrollment. Paid holidays are not part of this contract.

Term of Employment: June 29, 2026 – July 31, 2026 (includes one preparation/planning week plus 4 weeks of program)

Final times may vary slightly based on total enrollment / bus schedules.
Planning/Preparation Week: June 29 – July 3.
July 6 – July 31: Maximum 5 hours daily (tentatively 7:30am‑12:30pm), Monday through Thursday. Additional professional development and/or preparation time may be provided at the request of the Director.
Students: 8:30am‑12pm daily, Monday through Thursday and/or based on student attendance, enrollment, or need.

Aide – Special Education Classroom Aide/Bus Aide for the 2026 Summer School Program

Applicant must possess a high school diploma or GED if applicant has previously held a classroom/bus aide position. New applicants who have not held the position of a classroom/bus aide must attain a passing score on the School Service Personnel Performance Test for Aide.

Tend to hygienic and instructional needs of special needs student(s). Aide provides personal care services and must ride school bus and supervise child/children, if necessary. Must be able to lift student (in excess of fifty pounds) to assist with hygienic needs and other duties assigned by County Coordinator, as needed.
