Wheeling University invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor position in the MBA program within the Department of Business, beginning August 2026. We seek a dedicated educator who is passionate about teaching and committed to supporting the University’s mission. The successful candidate will teach graduate‑level MBA courses in a fully in‑person format.

• Teach assigned in‑person courses following approved curriculum
• Prepare and share course syllabi and materials
• Lead engaging classroom instruction and activities
• Take attendance and maintain a positive classroom environment
• Hold on‑campus office hours to support students
• Provide timely feedback and grading
• Refer students to campus resources as needed
• Keep accurate grade records and submit grades on time
• Uphold academic integrity standards
• Attend required meetings and trainings
• Follow institutional policies and procedures
  
  Communicate with department leadership as needed
• Stay current in subject area and teaching practices

• Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Business or a related discipline is required.
• Prior college‑level teaching experience
• Relevant professional experience in the field
• Basic proficiency with instructional technology and learning management systems (i.e. Canvas
  )

• Current curriculum vitae
• List of courses taught, including dates and institutions
• Transcripts from all degree‑granting institutions (official copies required upon hiring)
• Contact information for three (3) professional references (references will not be contacted without prior notification)
