Position Title: Itinerant Special Needs Aide/Supervisory Aide/Transportation Aide
6:00 a.m.
- 4:30 p.m. (Times are approximate because this position may be assigned a bus run)
Immediate Supervisor: Principal
Qualifications- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to Understand and Respond to the Needs of Children
- Use Oral and Written English Fluently
- Interpret and Follow Instructions
- Relate Well with School Personnel, Parents and the Community
- Demonstrate Creativity, Initiative and Patience
- Display a Positive Outlook Toward the Program and its Students
- Ability to Perform Health Related Duties for Special Needs Students
- Pass Aide Competency Test
- Current Employee or Substitute Aide
- Valid First Aid and CPR Cards
- Ability to lift 50lbs
Specialized Training: Safety care use of restraint certification - required (to be provided by county)

Employment Term: 200 day contract beginning 1st day of the 2026/2027 school year

Salary: Salary based on experience and education level per CBOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation. Salary Schedules
