Please apply online or in-person at the Hardy County Schools Central Office located at 510 Ashby St., Moorefield, WV 26836. All applicants must submit an application, two (2) letters of reference, transcripts, a copy of certification, and complete a background check upon request.

• (1) West Virginia Professional Teaching Certificate or (2) High School Diploma/High School Equivalency, WVSSAC Certification and Temporary Authorization, Coach
• CPR and AED Training Required
• Successful completion of the Hardy County interview process
• Complete all required county and WVDE trainings
• The ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the Job Description, with or without reasonable accommodations

  • Applicants who have recent unsatisfactory evaluations will not be eligible for consideration.
  • Applicants who demonstrate unsatisfactory interview performance are not eligible for consideration.
  • Applicants who receive unfavorable reference recommendations are not eligible for consideration.
  • Applicants who have been dismissed or who have had their contracts non-renewed for cause are not eligible for consideration.
