Job Information
Position: Teacher – 4th Grade
Location: Scott Teays Elementary, Putnam County Schools
Salary: Professional Salary Schedule based on experience and education level per Putnam County Board of Education salary schedule. Benefits include PEIA insurance, retirement, life insurance, free vision and dental insurance.
Length of Employment: 200 Days
Closing Date: 06/10/2026
Responsibilities- Deliver a comprehensive educational program in accordance with state law and West Virginia Board of Education and county policies and regulations.
- Perform all duties specified in the Putnam County Schools Job Description Handbook.
- Holds or qualifies for a West Virginia Professional or Temporary Teaching Certificate endorsed for elementary education, grades 1-8, 1-6 or K-6 or multi-subjects, grades K-8.
- Expected training in "LETRS".
