Position: Assistant Band Director (2)

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of various components of a music program such as field shows, arrangement, instrumentation, leadership, instruction, etc.
  • Experience with music instruction.
  • Participation in musical organizations.
  • Good interpersonal skills with an ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to coordinate community resources.
  • Coordinate, supervise, lead, instruct and perform other duties necessary for the implementation of a successful instrumental music program.
Duties
  • Attend all Band Booster meetings.
  • Attend all performances and band events.
  • Assist in supporting the overall success and positive culture of the band and performing arts program.
  • Promote strong communication, teamwork, and positive relationships among students, staff, and parents.
  • Support the Band Director with organizational and instructional needs as assigned.
  • Model and promote professional habits, responsibility, and positive conduct among students.
