Part-Time Food Service - SY

ACCEL Schools is hiring a Part-Time Food Service Worker at Eastern Panhandle Preparatory Academy in Kearneysville, WV.

Eastern Panhandle Preparatory Academy (EPPA) is a public charter school serving PK‑8th grade students. Located on a 30‑acre rural campus in Jefferson County, West Virginia, EPPA was founded in 2022 and is part of the nationwide ACCEL network of high‑performing charter schools.

The Food Service Aide assists with lunch activities and helps to promote positive student behaviors in both academics and extracurricular activities. The Aide provides oversight to ensure student safety and a positive school climate, and assists the School Leader and Teachers in administering assigned duties in accordance with ACCEL Schools' philosophy and policies, the school's governing board, the State Board of Education, and all applicable laws.

• Works cooperatively with teachers and others
• Acts in accordance with directives from the Administrator (or designee) and teachers
• Contributes to a positive climate and culture by exhibiting high professional standards

• High school diploma required
• Successful completion of BCI/FBI check
• Ability to work well under pressure
• High quality written and verbal communication skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Previous work experience working with youth or in a school setting desired
