Qualifications
  • Meet the definition of "qualifications" pursuant to W. Va. Code 18A-4-8b and demonstrated competency through the state-approved competency test pursuant to W. Va. Code 18A-4-8e.
  • Complete all required county and WVDE trainings.
  • Successful completion of the interview process.
  • Criminal background check conducted pursuant to W. Va. Code 18-5-15c and/or 18A-3-10.
  • Ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the job description, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Applicants with recent unsatisfactory evaluations, unsatisfactory interview performance, unfavorable reference recommendations, or dismissal/non-renewal for cause will not be considered.
Responsibilities

Help implement the Summer Program and support regular custodians with fall school opening preparations.

Compensation

Salary:
Based on the  salary scale B, commensurate with experience and education; paid through federal program funds.

Hours:

10:00 a.m.

- 1:29 p.m.; no compensation will be provided for forced closings.

Schedule

Summer Program  Dates:
July 27 - 30 and August 3 - 6, 2026.

Position Status

Position may be cancelled and rescinded if staffing is not secured.
