The Substitute Administrator serves in a temporary administrative capacity to ensure the safe, efficient, and effective operation of Boone County Schools during the absence of a principal, assistant principal, director, or other assigned administrator.
Qualifications- A valid West Virginia Administrative Certificate
- Minimum of three (3) years successful experience as a school administrator. Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of West Virginia Board of Education policies and Boone County Schools procedures
Performance shall be evaluated in accordance with Boone County Schools policies and West Virginia Board of Education regulations.
Terms of EmploymentEmployment is on an as-needed basis for the 2026–2027 school year.
Compensation shall be determined by the Boone County Board of Education Principal salary formula minus specific full‑time BCS principal supplements.
