Substitute Teacher - 26/27 SY

Maintains as fully as possible the established routines and procedures of the school and classroom(s) to which he/she is assigned. Teaches the lessons outlined and described in the Lesson Plans as prepared by the absent teacher(s). Consults with the building Principal before initiating any teaching or procedures not specified in the Lesson Plans. At the end of each teaching day, prepares a written report for the regular classroom teacher(s) about the work completed.

Assumes responsibility for overseeing student behavior throughout the school day. Follows all policies, rules, and procedures to which regular teachers are subject and to which good teaching practice dictates. Reports to the building Principal at the conclusion of the teaching day, and verifies whether or not his/her services will be required the nest teaching day. Performs other duties that may be assigned by the Principal.

Salary based on experience and education level per CBOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.
