Compensation: Salary based on experience and education level per Clay County Board of Education Salary Schedule, plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.
Pending Employment: Criminal Background Check, Drug Test
Position is contingent upon continued federal funding.
Key Responsibilities & Duties- Deliver direct, evidence-based interventions in reading/language arts and mathematics to individuals or small groups.
- Administer diagnostic and screening assessments to identify qualifying students. Continuously monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on data.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to align interventions with core classroom instruction and curriculum goals.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation required by federal Title I regulations to ensure continued funding.
- Communicate student progress to parents and guardians and provide resources or strategies to support learning at home.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education with Elementary Education certification required.
- Endorsement in Reading Education/Reading Specialist preferred.
