Position - Title 1 Reading & Math Interventionist

Work Schedule
:
Schedule to be determined by principal; rate of $25 per hour; up to 30 hours per week; up to 35 weeks for the school term
- Provide tiered Reading and Math instructional support to identified students in K-5 (max. 30 hours/wk).
- Collaborate with the school principal, teachers, and teams to develop and implement research-based interventions using evidence-based Reading and Math strategies.
- Provide virtual interventions when necessary.
- Create and maintain support for students in small group settings.
- Maintain student records for interventions, progress monitoring, benchmarks, and other diagnostic assessments according to prescribed procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of student records.
- Work cooperatively with students, staff, and parents to share knowledge and maintain integrity of the intervention process.
- Appropriate WV elementary certification.
- Experience and/or training in College and Career Ready Standards and technology skills.
- Knowledge/training/experience with WV multi-tiered systems of support.
- Demonstrates flexibility in working with groups and staff.
- Experience in working with students K-5.
- Demonstrates effective small group instruction that addresses individual student needs.
- Excellent skills in planning and preparation of lessons (in-class and virtual) for small group or individual instruction.

Salary Schedule
: $25/hour;
Up to 30 hours per week;
Up to 35 weeks in the school term
