West Virginia Academy is seeking a passionate and creative educator to join our team as a full-time Art and Music Teacher for Kindergarten through Grade 12. This position provides engaging visual arts and music instruction to scholars in Kindergarten through Grade 12 while fostering creativity, self-expression, and an appreciation for the arts.

- Plan and deliver engaging art and music instruction for scholars in Kindergarten through Grade 12.
- Develop age-appropriate lessons that align with West Virginia College and Career Readiness Standards.
- Teach foundational and advanced concepts in visual arts and music.
- Foster creativity through drawing, painting, sculpture, music appreciation, rhythm, singing, instrumental exploration, and performance opportunities.
- Prepare scholars for school performances, art showcases, and other special events throughout the year.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all scholars.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and administrators to support school-wide initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with families regarding scholar progress and classroom activities.
- Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and other school events.

2019s degree in Art Education, Music Education, Elementary Education, or a related field. - Valid West Virginia teaching certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Experience teaching children of varying ages is preferred.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with scholars, families, and colleagues.
- Passion for inspiring creativity and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
