• Salary:
  In accordance with the Hancock County Schools salary schedule for professionals, commensurate with experience and degree level
• Evaluation:
  Performance in this position will be evaluated annually by the Superintendent or her designee in accordance with WV State Code § l SA-2-12, State Board Policy 5310

• Must hold a valid certificate for the particular position from the State Department of Education for West Virginia
• World Language Certification required
• Spanish or ASL preferred

• A. Provide each student with attention needed to achieve the highest potential
• B. Record achievement fairly and accurately in accordance with school policy
• C. Maintain professional conduct with superiors, coworkers, parents, and students
• D. Responsible for all required reporting to immediate supervisor
• E. Work under the principal’s supervision for hall, bus, lunch duties and related supervision
• F. Perform other obligations determined by the building principal
• G. Implement the program of study
• H. Foster a classroom climate conducive to learning
• I. Utilize instructional management systems to increase learning and maximize time on task
• J. Monitor and report student progress toward learning outcomes
• K. Maintain and upgrade professional skills and teaching techniques
• L. Promote positive pupil-teacher-parent relationships
• M. Maintain professional work habits and appearance
• N. Incorporate differentiated instruction
• O. Co-Teaching when applicable
• P. Implement Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) within the school/classroom
• Q. Integrate technology within the school/classroom
