Long-Term Substitute Teacher.

EHES – East Hardy Elementary School. Date Posted: 7/7/2026. This position will be filled for the 2026‑2027 School Year only and the contract terminates upon hire of regularly employed personnel, if the position is no longer posted due to lack of need, or when the 2026‑2027 School Year concludes.
Perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the Job Description, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Qualifications- West Virginia Professional Teaching Certificate or Long-Term Substitute Permit.
- Certified to Teach:
Art K‑12 preferred. - Successful completion of the Hardy County interview process.
- Complete all required county and WVDE trainings.

Minimum Requirements: - Applicants with recent unsatisfactory evaluations will not be eligible for consideration.
- Applicants who demonstrate unsatisfactory interview performance are not eligible for consideration.
- Applicants who receive unfavorable reference recommendations are not eligible for consideration.
- Applicants who have been dismissed or whose contracts have been non‑renewed for cause are not eligible for consideration.
Based on the 2026‑2027 salary scale, certification and experience.
