State of West Virginia is seeking a technical specialist to ensure EPA SDWA implementation in an assigned district. The role conducts Sanitary Surveys of public water systems, evaluating source, treatment, distribution, storage, pumping, monitoring, and operator compliance.
The position provides technical assistance to PWS operators, teaches operator training, and may respond to emergencies, testify, and consult with officials and engineers as needed. On-call 24/7/365 for emergency response.
