Process Automation and Control Engineer – North American Engineering Hub
We are seeking a Process Automation and Control Engineer to lead automation projects, implement cyber‑security, and provide operational support across North American sites.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all phases of the automation portion of capital projects including design, engineering, implementation, and commissioning.
- Ensure adherence to safety and life‑critical work processes on site.
- Serve as the technical authority for project deliverables, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with site leadership, engineering teams, and vendors for seamless project execution.
- Monitor project milestones, deliverables, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver control system configuration services for North American sites.
- Provide automation support to operational sites for lifecycle management, cyber‑security services, and other automation needs.
- Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally for commissioning and project activities.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Controls Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Chemical / Petrochemical / Pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
- Proven track record of leading control‑focused engineering projects.
- Deep understanding of Distributed Control Systems such as Emerson DeltaV, ABB 800xA, Foxboro, or Rockwell.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Expertise in control philosophy for modern process plants.
- Strong understanding of production manufacturing processes and instrumentation.
- Competitive salary ranging from $107,500 to $157,663 plus discretionary bonuses.
