About The PositionTo strengthen our Project Acceleration Team, we are looking for several Technical Office Engineers – E&I Design Support to support the 2nd shift with technical site queries and design updates.
You will serve as the practical interface between engineering and construction, ensuring that changes, redlines, and technical queries are processed quickly and correctly.
Your Responsibilities- Analyzing and answering/coordinating technical queries from construction.
- Checking and updating E&I drawings, redlines, layouts, cable routing, hook-ups, and termination details.
- Processing field measurements and site information into technical documentation.
- Supporting constructability reviews and seeking feasible technical solutions within project specifications.
- Preparing and following up on RFIs, design change notes, and as-built input.
- Coordinating with discipline engineers, vendors, construction supervisors, and QA/QC.
- Monitoring document revisions and ensuring that the site works with the correct approved information.
- Supporting urgent 2nd-shift issues that have a direct impact on production and work fronts.
- Experience with E&I design, technical office, or site engineering within industrial projects.
- Proficient in reading and modifying electrical/instrumentation drawings and technical documents.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or EPLAN is highly desirable; experience with Smart Plant/AVEVA tools is a plus.
- Practical insight into constructability and field installation.
- You are able to structure technical issues under time pressure and elevate them correctly.
- Good knowledge of English;
Dutch is an asset. - You are willing to work in the 2nd shift.
Education: Bachelor’s in E&I, electromechanics, electricity, or equivalent
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of E&I engineering/site support
Certificates & site requirements- VCA-basis or VCA-VOL certification desired.
- BA5 and ATEX/IEC 60079 knowledge are pluses.
