Building Principals

The Theater Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the theater, ensuring a seamless experience for both patrons and presenters. This role involves managing schedules for theater usage, preparing the venue for various events, and handling all audio and video requirements.

• Schedule Management
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive calendar for theater usage.
  • Coordinate with event organizers to ensure availability and avoid scheduling conflicts.
  • Allocate time slots for rehearsals, performances, and maintenance activities.
• Event Preparation
  • Collaborate with presenters to understand their specific needs and requirements.
  • Ensure all necessary equipment and materials are prepared and available for events.
  • Arrange seating and other logistical elements according to the nature of the event.
• Audio and Video Setup
  • Set up and operate audio and video equipment for performances and presentations.
  • Perform sound checks and video tests prior to events to ensure quality and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during events to minimize disruptions.
• Team Leadership
  • Foster a positive and professional work environment that encourages teamwork and excellence.
  • If needed, assign tasks and responsibilities to staff members to ensure efficient event execution.
• Customer Service
  • Provide exceptional service to patrons, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Gather feedback from attendees and presenters to continuously improve the theater experience.
  • Maintain a welcoming and safe environment for all guests.
• Budget and Resource Management
  • Procure and maintain inventory of necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Seek opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate event timings.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb on a ladder, squat, stoop, and kneel. The employee will be required to lift to fifty pounds.
