RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Technologists Assistant to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. As a Technologists Assistant, you will support the Technologists in a variety of ways, allowing the Technologists patient schedules to remain on time. This role also ensures that the scanning area runs smoothly, is maintained, and kept organized.

This is a part‑time position working 30‑39 hours per week.

• Monitor MRI, CT, arthrogram and X‑ray schedules
• Adjust patients’ schedules when necessary and keep all techs informed of any changes
• Greet and escort patients to the changing room; briefly explain procedure
• Prepare patient jackets and compile films, putting them together in the appropriate jacket according to date and number
• Assist technologists in room set‑up between patients, including putting the proper coil on the table, removing the previous coil, and changing the table sheet
• Help the technologist stay on time by having the next patient ready before the current patient is finished
• Restore and network all previous exams for next day’s returning patients

• Stock and clean work and control areas and MRI rooms
• Ensure that all MRI patient areas are stocked and organized in a neat and tidy manner
• Clean and stock patient prep room and patient restroom
• Stock linen and empty laundry at the end of the night
• Organize and clean supply closet and computer rooms
• Organize radiologist reading area after radiologist has left for the day
• Check with MRI technologists, Medical Records and/or Front Office for additional duties as needed
