Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A retail/outpatient pharmacy in Bridgeport, West Virginia, seeks a licensed pharmacist for a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity. Situated conveniently in the parking lot of a medical building, this role offers a chance to provide essential pharmaceutical care within a supportive community setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy, safety, and proper dosage
• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and adherence
• Support daily pharmacy operations, including inventory management and dispensing
• Maintain strict compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and procedures

Qualifications and

Experience:

• Active West Virginia pharmacist license in good standing
• Experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy preferred
• Excellent communication and patient counseling abilities
• Commitment to a long-term, permanent pharmacy role
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
