Performs a variety of dietary duties pertaining to the daily operation of the dietary department.

12:30p.m. –8:30p.m. (Every other weekend required)

• Pulling food trucks that weigh approximately 100lbs.
• Working one of four different positions in the dish room—two times per shift.
• Understanding the daily menus and setting up residents’ diet trays accurately.
• Delivering nourishment and evening snacks to all sections of the nursing home.
• Restocking the juice cart daily for the morning shift.
• Performing any other duties as directed by the Dietary Manager or Evening Supervisor.
• Adhering to all sanitation and health standards at Good Shepherd Nursing Home LC.
• Placing diet cards in order and setting them up for the next meal.
• Maintaining a clean appearance and proper hygiene.

High school graduate, high school student, or equivalence of a G.E.D.

• Must be able to read and understand menus and tray cards.
• Must stand for 75% of the work day.
• Must lift 25–50lbs and pull food trucks (~100lbs).
• Must bend when working in the dish room and during cleaning.
• Must be available for weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
