Responsibilities
- Work closely with related teams on Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange (on-premise and online), and migration management implementation projects, including upgrades, installations, configurations, migrations, security policy design, administration, and user training. Requires a technical understanding of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange, Quest On-Demand, AvePoint and Bit Titan Migration Wiz toolsets.
- Collaborate with co‑workers (internally), end‑users (externally), and vendor representatives on installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of MS Teams, in accordance with contract SLAs.
- Mentor and develop Consultants, Engineers and Technicians on the team, providing guidance on technical skills and soft skills required for their success.
- Act as a technical expert with strong customer interaction skills, advising on, implementing, and managing complex solution and service deployments for clients.
- Maintain a hunger for learning and pursue relevant certifications and training for Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Exchange, as well as vendor‑specific training for solutions including Quest and Bit Titan.
- Serve as a technical authority and subject matter expert for Softchoice, supporting other individuals and teams at trade shows, events, and speaking engagements that require technical expertise.

- Work in a highly visible customer‑facing role.
- Support architects, engineers, and project managers in developing detailed, actionable Statements of Work.
- Stay current on new trends and technology updates.

- A problem solver capable of uncovering and addressing root cause of issues.

- Computer Science / Information Technology degree or diploma or equivalent industry experience.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
- 5+ years’ professional services experience in a client‑facing role, or 7+ years of related industry experience.
- Updated certifications and training including Active Directory, M365 Fundamentals, M365 Administrator, Azure Fundamentals, Administering / Configuring Windows Server Hybrid (core and advanced), On‑Demand Migration for M365 and Active Directory, and ITIL v4 Foundation.
Base pay ranges and target incentives:
- Chicago: $116,800 – $146,000 annually + 14% target incentives
- Florida: $110,960 – $138,700 annually + 14% target incentives
- Texas: $116,800 – $146,000 annually + 14% target incentives
- West Virginia: $105,120 – $131,400 annually + 14% target incentives
Actual salary will be based on location, experience, skill set, education, and related certification. Ranges for other geographic locations may differ.
