What you’ll do Compliance Advisory & Governance- Provide clear, practical compliance advice and guidance to Operations and Services
- Support the interpretation and application of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, including jurisdictional differences
- Assist in managing compliance risks and contractual obligations across the organisation
- Champion a positive, proactive culture of compliance aligned to the Nido Way
- Support the development, standardisation, and implementation of compliance checks and tools
- Monitor completion of mandated audits and compliance activities
- Assist with compliance reporting for Operations, Executive Leadership and Board reporting
- Support the review and maintenance of policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements
- Support services and PQLs with high-risk incidents, investigations, and compliance matters
- Assist in the management of reportable incidents and regulatory notifications
- Analyse incident and audit data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Support proactive risk identification and mitigation across services
- Assist in the development and delivery of compliance-related training and resources
- Support research into best practice and continuous improvement initiatives
- Help build compliance capability across leaders and service teams
- 5 years of experience in compliance, regulation, governance, or risk (ECEC experience highly regarded)
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements
- Experience supporting audits, investigations, or regulatory reporting
- Ability to provide practical, solutions-focused advice in complex environments
- Strong written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills
- High attention to detail with a strong sense of accountability
- Confidence working with sensitive and confidential information
