We are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Operations to provide strategic leadership across multiple operational facilities. This executive role is responsible for driving operational excellence, advancing safety and quality performance, optimizing supply chain and manufacturing processes, and developing high-performing leadership teams.
The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands‑on leader with a proven track record of leading complex industrial operations, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and delivering sustainable business results in a multi‑site environment.
Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities Operational Leadership- Lead and optimize operations across multiple facilities to ensure alignment with organizational objectives
- Drive achievement of production, quality, delivery, and operational performance targets
- Develop and implement strategies that improve efficiency, productivity, and overall operational effectiveness
- Lead planning, material flow, inventory management, and process improvement initiatives
- Support long‑term operational planning, modernization efforts, and technology adoption
- Champion a proactive safety culture focused on prevention, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify risks, implement corrective actions, and improve safety performance
- Promote operational practices that support environmental, health, and safety objectives
- Lead supply chain and distribution strategies to support organizational growth and customer service objectives
- Optimize inventory planning, scheduling, and product flow throughout the network
- Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve operational processes
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive advantage
- Build, develop, and mentor operational leadership teams
- Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Drive initiatives that support employee development, retention, and succession planning
- Encourage collaboration across departments to achieve both short‑ and long‑term business goals
- Align operational priorities with broader organizational objectives
- Utilize data, metrics, and financial analysis to guide decision‑making and performance improvements
- Present operational updates, strategic recommendations, and performance results to executive leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field required
- Advanced degree preferred
- Progressive leadership experience within manufacturing, industrial operations, supply chain, or distribution environments
- Demonstrated success leading multi‑site operations and large teams
- Experience driving operational transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong financial acumen, including budget and profit‑and‑loss responsibility
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and change management skills
- Experience utilizing ERP systems and business technology platforms
- Proven ability to establish performance metrics and execute strategies that achieve results
